During the spring and summer, from May to October, our olive press transforms into an exhibition area, where thousands of tourists every season enjoy tours of our facilities and sample our various products. The visitors can purchase and taste various olive oil kinds, including the renowned extra-virgin olive oil. We take pride in offering our guests the opportunity to experience and taste the fruits of our labor, produced using advanced technology and procedures.
From October to January, our resident olive farmers entrust us with the production and pressing of their olive harvest, relying on our expertise and technology to ensure maximum yield and quality. We specialize in bulk orders globally, cooperating with many sub-agents and focusing on Europe and the whole of Greece. Every product that our visitors taste comes straight from our olive press.
About us
Vouno Olive Press is a third-generation family business that has been active in the production of olive oil since 1971.
We are proud to serve hundreds of olive farmers annually at every harvest, and they have entrusted us with their harvest from generation to generation. We continue to produce the highest quality product for them.
We produce 80% of our olive oil from Koroneiko variety trees, and the rest comes from the oldest and largest indigenous trees on the island, over 500 years old, known as the ‘Dopies’. The ideal geographical location of our region, the rocky soil, the sea, the temperate climate, the ideal temperature, and humidity, all contribute to the rich aroma and unique taste of our olive oil.
We take pride in our knowledge of the product and production process, making us one among the most progressive on the island with constantly evolving technology and procedures. Through our commitment to quality and innovation we have earned the numerous awards, recognizing our dedication to producing the finest quality olive oil products.
